Day four was dedicated to sight seeing. Shawna gave us a statistic that 99.9 percent of Yellowstone park guests do not get more than a half mile from the road. Although we did more hiking than that, most of the paths were paved and we could be tourists for a day. After hearing endless “stupid tourist stories” from Shawna we were able to make our own stories after seeing a man walk off the path to the edge of a geyser and put a stick in it. We were able to view all the major visual attractions of the park in an extremely efficient manor. For example, Old Faithful erupted only 3 minutes after we arrived. There was many great things to see, I took so many pictures that my fully charged phone battery died before the end of the day. Visiting all the major landmarks of the park was a great way to wrap up the trip.
