Today started out with us seeing bighorn sheep and mountain goats. that was all cool. then things happened. Earlier we had gotten a report that a coyote “bite” a kids hand. anyways we drove to the site where the incident happened, this being a great while later. long story short the yote had returned and was running up behind a tourist and chaos followed. The rangers were trying to mace the coyote before what we assumed shooting it. I didn’t agree with this method. I think they should have just shot it on site without trying to disable it first.

Tonight we had two guest speakers on climate change. It was one of the most interesting guest speaking sessions I had in my life. They raised many interesting questions and points.
