This morning we took the day to tour majority of the park and see what else Yellowstone has to offer for us. The first place we went to look was the canyon village waterfalls and from there we checked out a couple of other waterfalls that were along the way and I though they were really cool and how they have shaped the landscape over the years. When we finished looking at the falls for the morning we headed old faithful where I spent some money at the gift shops.

While we had time time to kill before Old Faithful was predicted to burst I had time to go checkout a couple of the other hot spots within the basin. I got to look at a couple of the little hot spots that bursts and then a couple of the cool ponds that are iridescent. Then we got to watch Old Faithful blow and I thought that was cool since I haven’t seen it before. From there we looked at other hot springs and then lied down to feel the lava below at Black Sand. I thought that was pretty cool to feel that! The wind was bad at the grand prismatic so it was impossible to see the pool but I’m sure it looks wonderful. I thought the mud pots were extremely cool! for some reason I think they are cool since they bubble while being so heavy and concentrated.
