Yellowstone 2k16 Day 4

Our final day in Yellowstone.. Unfortunately we couldn’t be in Yellowstone forever, and we saved the most well known part of the park for last. We got up early Sunday morning and started heading south towards Wyoming. We were heading to the geysers. The first one we went to was old faithful, the most famous geyser in the park, and quite possibly the whole world. Many people were gathered around to watch the incredible spectacle, and right on que old faithful let out a huge stream of boiling water high into the air. From there we made our way back towards gardener, stopping at other hot springs on our way, as well as some of the waterfalls. We even got to see the mud pots as they belched away in kind of a mesmerizing way. The day was capped off by walking the board walks through the terraces at mammoth. We had our amazing tour guide shauna over for ice cream that night and shared some of our favorite memories from the trip. Then it was off the pack up and get ready to leave in the morning. This trip to Yellowstone was one of the best decisions that i have made. It was so much fun seeing all the new things, and learning about what goes on in the park. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone! Gary is a great teacher and he loves the park as much as anyone.
