We started the day out at 6 am to go look for wildlife at Hayden valley, unfortunately we didn’t see any wolves or bears but we did see some elk and a few bison.  After that we went on a hike by Yellowstone lake in high wind and snow but we were in the woods for most of it so it was fun.  After walking back to the bus we got a note saying the road from Canyon to Norris so we took a detour around Ol’ Faithful and hiked up to some of the geothermal features.  On the last stop before heading home we went to some pika habitat and hiked around on rocks, which had some cool views.  After getting back at 5 we ate at the Two Bit Saloon and had my first buffalo burger, I thought was pretty good, we are going to see some wolves at the Lamar Valley tomorrow morning and hoping we have better luck tomorrow.
