Today was sadly the last day in Yellowstone and I would say it was a pretty good day. It started out by all of us pilling into the 15 passenger van to go see Norris Geyser Basin. The way to there was pretty good until we hit some snow and started sliding Dr. Kettering kept it under control. The basin was beautiful after we went there we headed to the waterfall where we built a snowman. (Which some tourists took a picture of). We then headed to Old Faithful which eurpted about 2 minutes before we got there so we stuck around and did some shopping. While waiting for the next eruption we found out that the roads to and from Old Faithful were closed. While waiting for the roads to open I got to watch Old Faithful erupt. It was beautiful but cold. After being stuck for 2 hours we finally got out but had to take a detour from Old Faithful to Bozeman and then Bozeman to Gardiner with is about a 4 hour drive. We did get to take a different way we had never been and see new scenery. I definitely recommend this trip to anyone and everyone.

Larissa I’m so glad that you enjoyed your trip and can’t wait to hear all about it!
Thanks. It was fun trip
I am glad that you enjoyed your trip. Did you actually get to go to Old Faithful? I bet seeing it erupt was really a pretty site.
In order to see old faithful erupt you have to be on the board walk and so yes I was on the boardwalk
How much time is between each Old Faithful eruption?
90 minutes approximately give or take 10 minutes
While in the van did you see any wildlife? Or does machines and vehicles cause the animals to spook easily?
We saw bison and prong horn and elk. The vehicles didn’t seem to scare the animals too much
Hey Larissa, I hope you had a lot of fun on the trip. I loved all of the pictures you took, it was fun to see all of the things you got to see that I didn’t get to see this summer. I also remember having to wait for old faithful for a long time. Glad to see you guys made it back safe!
Thank you.
Have you seen any other geysers like Old Faithful before going on this trip? What was more interesting, the scenery or the animals?
Yes we went to the lower geyser basin and saw others.None that erupted like old faithful
