Landon: Final reflection

Leaving Yellowstone was something that gave me mixed feelings. Once we had been there for a while I think we were all ready to be home, not to say the trip was bad because it was one of the better trips I’ve ever been on in my life. Seeing the wolves was something I was really looking forward to because I’ve never seen one in real life and to see a pack feeding on a carcass was even better than anything I could’ve hoped for. I also got to do something that will more than likely be a once in a lifetime experience, like sitting in the boiling river, considering that the river itself is ice cold, yet if you find the right pot its like you are in a nice and warm hot tub.

All the geysers that we got to see and the views we were able to experience after a long hike made the soreness in my legs all worth it. These were sights that were breath taking, and really cool country to see after living in North Dakota my whole life. Overall this trip was an unforgettable experience and something that I’m sure I’ll remember for a long time.
