Today was our Bison day but it turned into a decent day. We saw a lot of Bison today and we did a Bison survey. There was no collared Bison and so we couldn’t do the scat sample but we could do demographics. Right after we left the Bison survey we went farther down the road and found the Junction Butte pack. There we saw 13 wolves and got some good videos and pictures.

Are next spot we ended up looking for Mountain Goats and found two on the rocks. We got some good pictures of those as well. We then hiked to the Lamar and Yellowstone Confluence that was pretty neat to see. We then finished up with Lauren who is a Bison biologist for Yellowstone and we talked about Brucellosis and it was a very interesting talk.
