Today was much less eventful than yesterday. After seeing a plethora of animals yesterday, I was rearing to go this morning and find some more. We went to a fresh kill site right away and waiting until sunrise. All we ended up seeing was a couple of coyotes and lots of ravens. We drove around the park all morning looking for other critters to be running around, but the light rain must’ve been enough to make them want to hunker down. We walked along the Lamar River and found a few good tracks from bears and wolves, and even an otter. Afterwards our guide Quinn talked to us about the beavers of Yellowstone. Then we came back to our motel and turned right back around to look at the Norris Geyser Basin. While we were there it started to downpour so all my warm clothes got soaked. Then we came back to town and Dr. Ketterling bought us all pizza for dinner. Excited to see what tomorrow brings.
