Today we spent our time looking at the geothermal areas in the park. We started off the day by attempting to see the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, but we stopped when a snowstorm fell down. This forced use to head by to Mammoth for some time. After an hour in Mammoth, we decided the roads were good enough and headed down to see Old Faithful. The group got their in time to see it go off, but I went off to check out the Riverside Geyser. I did not get to see the geyser erupt, but it was interesting to see a geyser that I did research on. I made my way back to the group with enough time to watch Old Faithful erupt one more time. On my way back I got to see two other geyser’s erupt. After Old Faithful we visited the Grand Prismatic Spring and finished the day by viewing the Painted Mud Pots.
