I would say the Yellowstone trip was an overall success. Despite the rain and the one day of snow I had a good time. I enjoyed seeing the wildlife. I liked are wolf tracker guided they were fun and very educated when it came to there job. I was fun being able to get to socialize and become a little closer with some of are classmates. The drive to and back from Yellowstone was long and not to much fun. I would say that on this trip I got to learn more about some of the wolves behaviors and habits. We got more information about the grizzly bears. We got to go and look at an older kill sight and see how each animal that feeds on it a little different. Like the grizzly bear can peal back the hide off the skull of the bison. I learned that sometimes the park rangers will go and cut the antlers of dead heads or sheds that way it makes them less valuable. Quinn one of are wolf tracker guides told us about one area of the park. How the habitat that it has now is hard to find in the park. The reason its the way it is now is mostly because of the lack of elk grazing on the trees when they are young and the beavers making a new body of water which is helping out the trees. the park has spots that are fenced in to try to help recreate these kind of areas. Some of the things I would of changed on the trip was spent more time looking for and at wildlife. I’ve been to Yellowstone before and saw all the geysers and hot springs before. I would of like to spent more time looking for animals. I also would of liked to go on some more hikes and get off the trail more. I would say the thing I enjoyed the most was being able to see the Grizzly bears. I’ve never seen a Grizzly before so it was nice to see one. The thing that I won’t forget is when we were first getting into the park we saw a fly fisherman wipe out while he was in the river. Overall I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who hasn’t been to Yellowstone. I would say even if you have been to Yellowstone before go on this trip. You get to experience a different view of Yellowstone.
