Day three we were out in Hellroaring trail looking for pica. Surprisingly, we found one fairly easily pretty close to where we were standing. Later, we had word of wolves eating a carcass. We set up scopes and for the second time this trip I got to observe their behavior. Lastly, we took a small hike up a steep hill that overlooked Junction Butte. Truly an incredible view. Even the panoramic pictures I took didn’t do it justice. It was a very fast day but I am looking forward to tomorrow visiting the various tourist attractions at the park.
