Today was the best day in the park so far. We were a bit worried this morning that we were not going to see much around the Lamar Valley so we drove down to the fountain flat area which was kind of a long drive but it was worth it. We finally go to see wolves which were part of the Wapiti pack out moving around. Two of them were pretty close so that was exciting. Taylor told us a lot of interesting information about the wolves. She said there was one wolf which was part of the snake river pack that made it all the way down to Colorado one time before the Game and Fish contacted the park. She also told us the mollies are the only pack left from those that were reintroduced in 1995.
