Landon: Day 4 at Yellowstone

Today was not what everyone had hoped it would be. Right away we headed to Norris Geyser basin to check out the Steamboat and the Clister Spring. Steamboat didn’t erupt as it doesn’t erupt too often but still looked cool along with the Spring. From there we took the snowy trek to the Upper Geyser Basin to see Old Faithful. Some of us got to see Old Faithful erupt but then all roads to and from Old Faithful got closed so we were stuck there for another 3 extra hours. Once a road opened up it was the West Entrance which is the exact wrong direction back to the hotel. We took the West Entrance but that made the drive back to the hotel about 4.5 hours when it should’ve been been 1 hour. Although the last day at Yellowstone didn’t go how we had hoped it would, it was still an amazing trip and I can’t wait to come back.
