Day two was very eventfully. we started off the day doing bison herd demographics. the herd we were able to survey, no individuals had a radio collar on so we were unable to take more detailed info. right after doing the survey we saw the Junction Butte wolf pack. there were 17 individuals with 4 yearlings with them. we then went to find mountain goats, we were successful in finding 3 mountain goats. we then hiked to the Yellowstone and Lamar river confluence. we are still in search of a bear and a moose. we finished the day with a speaker about the bison management.
