Ending the Trip Like Tourist

During our final day out in Yellowstone we made many quick stops to try and view all that this place has to offer. We started off by driving to Artist Point, and the Canyon of Yellowstone. Both were an amazing sight to take in. After that trip we headed further into the area and focused on the lower and upper basin. One which had a huge hiking trail that took a lot out of you once to reached the bottom. We viewed the falls from different angles and got different perspectives, which was interesting to see. Next we stopped and viewed old faithful. It was my first time to actually see the geyser erupt.

We then focused on all the pools and mud pots. Although most of the wind was moving the steam everywhere, we still got little glimpses of the godscn0055rgeous blues and greens. The mud pots carried a pinkish color to them which I thought was interesting. We then ate supper all together and had ice cream with Shawna as we talked about the good times we shared this week.

Overall this entire week has been a blast. Lots of adventures were made and can’t wait tell the next time I’m in Yellowstone.
