Throughout the Yellowstone class and the field trip I was awestruck by how unique and stunning the whole Yellowstone area is. Watching videos and talking about the things we were going to see on the trip were exciting but actually getting to see them is something I will not forget. As a fisheries and wildlife major I was fascinated seeing the animals that the park has and learning how they are all carefully managed to work together. I would recommend anyone who has an interest in wildlife or the outdoors to take this class because of how eye opening it is to see the real life struggles of game management and the effort it takes to work in a wildlife field. Also if you have never been out to Yellowstone I would recommend taking a trip out there. It truly is a unique part of the country and somehow I know I will be back to visit.
