Today was a success. I was able to see two pika during our study in the Hells Roaring area . i was not able to see them last year so this was a first time I have seen them so that was exciting. We also were able to see the junction butte pack as they were feeding on a bison carcass that they had killed. it was amazing being able to watch the pack as they ate and ripping off parts and they were carrying pieces of meat away and feeding on it. we also went to the boiling river in the evening and there was no happy medium in temp but it is a good experience 

We did not see a bear or moose yet, but we still have tomorrow to find one. Tomorrow we are planning on going to old faithful. I’ve been to old faithful a few times before but every time it is an amazing view and something new happens every time. Also mammoth hot springs is one of my favorite spots in the park so I am looking forward to that tomorrow.
