Today I woke up at about 5:15 this morning and its was a chilly windy early morning. To warm myself up I made a couple cups of hot chocolate one at the hotel and one on the bus ride. We traveled up to Hayden valley to look for some wolves of the Wapiti pack, and it was very chilly up there and we only managed to see a couple elk and bison. One wolf watcher actually caught a glimpse of a wolverine way off in the treeline of the valley. We then hiked off into the woods to look for animal sign and found quite a few different animal sign, and on the way out we hiked along Yellowstone Lake. After the lake we ate some lunch then decided to go hike by the geysers, and saw some cool things while also getting choked by the nasty smelling stem. For our last trip of the day we wanted to go look for some pika, and the scenery was amazing climbing all the boulders and acting like sasquatch’s.
