Today was a great day although it was wolf day we did not see any. Which is okay there was still plenty of beauty to take it. Im so glad I had the opportunity to take this trip and I recommend you taking it too. We went on two hikes today one being able .5 and the other around 3 miles. The 3 mile hike was the longest and hardest hike I have every done. It was up hill down hill around the bend and the trail wasn’t very big and on top of it all it was very muddy since it snowed last night. Nothing like Valley City, tomorrow we will hike again and talk about climate change. Enjoy the pictures posted and have great night.

although you didn’t see any wolves, were you greeted by any other animals on your hike? Also how many inches of snow was there?
We saw bison and less than an inch I would say. It has been cold but beautiful
The pictures look amazing! On any of your hikes did you get to see anything you didn’t expect to?
Kids. I saw kids hiking when I didn’t expect to see young kids doing a kinda tough and muddy hike.
Did you see any other animals? and while on the walk was there unusual things you saw ?
Just some bison, but something unusual we saw were bones of lots of animals and then a group of kids who hiked up to the pens.
Did you see any animals at all during your long hike?
We saw an injured female bison and a bunch of males.
Your pictures are so pretty to look at keep taking more pictures for everyone back at home! It is sad to hear that you didn’t see any wolfs though.
We saw wolves today so it was okay. There were actually on a carcass so that was pretty neat
