We drove from Valley City to Gardiner, MT today. We left at 6 am central time and arrived at Gardiner at 7 pm mountain time. We stopped at Painted Canyon Overlook of Theodore National Park. This is the first time since I have been really young that I have seen the badlands. I really enjoyed the view. On the drive, we saw coyotes, white-tailed deer, mule deer, and bison. We then got to Livingston. We stopped here to get groceries. The landscape really started to change into mountains at Livingston. From Livingston to Gardiner, we saw multiple elk, white-tailed deer, and mule deer. We then checked into the hotel at 7.
