I was disappointed that we weren’t able to see any wolves this morning; I was really hoping that we would see the wolves in action today, however, that did not happen. Even though it was super cold and windy, I enjoyed the hike by Yellowstone Lake. I got to take lots of pictures of the scenic forest and some of the animals residing there. Anyway, if it weren’t windy and foggy, this experience would’ve been a 10/10. As the day progressed, we were able to see more elk, mule deer, and bison roaming around the park, which I also took pictures of. Another thing we did was visit the Painted Mud Pots and other geothermal types around the area. I learned a lot of interesting facts about the geology of these geothermal oddities… So far, my experience here has been fun and educational, I’m ecstatic that Mike, the tour guide, has gone through geological material as well as fisheries/wildlife management. Lets hope that tomorrow is warmer and we get to see some wolves!!
